Chetan
is Founder and President of the firm. He
is
a recognized industry expert in strategy and implementation of
wireless data and pervasive computing solutions. He has a
strong background in developing and launching technologies,
products, and solutions for the
wireless Industry, including extensive experience in managing and
delivering all phases of the product development cycle. Executives
from leading wireless companies around the world seek his accurate
predictions, independent insights, and actionable recommendations.
He has served as an advisor to senior executive management of
several Fortune 100 companies in the wireless space. Some of his
clients include NTT DoCoMo, China Mobile, Disney, KTF, Sony, Samsung, Virgin Mobile, Sprint Nextel, AT&T Wireless,
Alcatel-Lucent, KDDI, Cincinnati Bell,
Reuters, Qualcomm, Reliance Infocomm, SAP, Merrill Lynch, American Express,
Infospace, BEA, and HP.
Before starting his consulting
practice,
he was founding Director of Emerging Solutions practice at Luminant Worldwide.
Prior to his leadership of the R&D group, Sharma served as founder and
Director of Luminant's wireless practice. In this role, he oversaw
global client engagements, provided vision and strategic direction,
conducted wireless research and development, and established
partnerships with leading industry players such as IBM. Prior to that, Chetan was
a systems engineer and product manager, focusing on mobile
communications, at Cellular Technical Services, where he worked on
creating RF
Fingerprinting solutions to prevent wireless fraud. His work was
instrumental in making a big dent in the $1B industry-wide fraud
problem. He also worked at
Philips Consumer Communications - a joint venture between Lucent and
Philips.
His
experience with strategic alliances involved US carriers such as
Verizon, Sprint, AT&T Wireless, Cingular, Cincinnati Bell, and others;
some of the most prominent carriers in Europe and Asia; IBM, Intel, Telcordia, SBC, Unisys, and many other leading players in the
wireless sector.
Chetan is the

conferences worldwide, and is an active member in industry bodies and
committees.

He

Finland. He served on the US advisory committee of Korea-Pacific US
States Joint Conference on wireless and multimedia. Chetan has
published several articles and industry reports on topics ranging
from wireless multimedia to WLAN to UMTS. Chetan was also a
contributing analyst of one of the most preeminent wireless print
magazines -
Wireless World and
has published several cover stories and articles for the same.
Chetan is
one of the leading strategists on IP matters in the wireless
industry. He has advised clients with some of the biggest patent
portfolios in the world and worked with players across the wireless
value chain. He has been retained as an expert witness and advisor
for some of the most prominent legal matters in front of the
International Trade Commission (ITC) such as Qualcomm vs. Broadcom
and Ericsson vs. Samsung.

IEEE, IEEE Communications Society, and IEEE Computers Society.
Chetan has MSEE
from Kansas State University and BE from Indian Institute of
Technology (IIT), Roorkee. He loves travel, history, and is an avid
sports fan. He was captain of the university (IIT Roorkee) badminton
team and has won university championships in India and the US.
Sarla Sharma
Sarla Sharma is a
Principal with the firm. She has
several years of experience
with "Big 4" including work with KPMG and Arthur Andersen. Her
experience includes Sarbanes Oxley 404 (SOX) compliance, process
re-engineering, risk management, cross-group project management,
financial statement audit, financial analysis, development and
implementation of policies and procedures. Sarla has worked for
Fortune 500 companies in various industries such as Wireless and
Telecom, Banking and Financial Institutions, High Technology,
Insurance, Retail, Healthcare, and Entertainment. Her clients
include T-Mobile, AT&T Wireless (Cingular), Western Wireless
(Alltel), Clearwire, Microsoft, Getty Images, Washington Mutual,
Costco, aQuantive, and others.
Sarla
has managed Sarbanes Oxley 404 and risk management projects for
large wireless carriers, some of the biggest financial institutions,
and other fortune 100 companies such as Microsoft. She has won
several recognition awards for her client work. She is a member of
WSCPA. Sarla is a CPA and a published author of research papers in the
wireless industry. She is a Six-Sigma Black Belt.
Sarla
has a BS in Accounting from University of North Carolina and Masters
in Economics.
